Our belief & contribution

Education is instrumental in the success of an individual or community, it provides one with knowledge, stability, perspective, and is something that can never be taken away. Power of Sharing believes strongly in the sentiment that “Education is for all” so, with our respective resources we created a shelter for street children in Model Colony, Karachi. This shelter is a safe haven, where street children are provided with clean water, snacks, juice, fruit, and other nourishment which would otherwise be unavailable to them. During their time at the shelter, they are also taught personal hygiene skills, self-awareness, and basic education including functional numeracy and literary skills; a first step to spark passion and ambition towards learning and flourishing within these children. Our next step is giving the kids further support in regard to their formal education by facilitating school fees, books, and uniforms among other financial support the families may require.
